>>23916246I think other way around. L-Gaim is way more dense and to me at times feels like Tomino and crew wanted to make the best damn Star Wars TV show ever. Dunbine is more original and has a lot of crazy twists and turns and the last 1/3 is some peak 80s kino. That said I absolutely love them both and wish L-Gaim had more in its universe since you can clearly do so much with it.

L-gaim is just a lot of one-off episodes where the gang does something and accidentally run into one of the extra thirteen and gavlet in the process, and then all the sudden there’s a rush to put all the story in place in the last couple episodes at the end.
