Haven't read Eight just because I don't like the dripfeed, I'd rather catch up on a bunch of chapters at once. I am looking forward to it though. Making IBO Gekko "Legally Distinct IBO Knockoff" while having it in the same continuity and even the same time period was a decision I don't think I could ever justify, but I found it quite charming. I don't think it's better than real IBO, but I do like it more for some reason and I even like it enough that I bought kits for all 3 versions of Astaroth. I also generally liked Rascal more than Monogatari. So whatever Kamoshida is copying, I'm sure he's doing a hell of a job at it.
