Is the Plus mobile suits basically like the refined mobile suits? Also Nu Plus, Iota Plus & Xi Plus when?

Refined MS (in the Fed case) were attempts to reduce the cost of mass producing Zeta era MS as the modern """""peacetime""""" era required of them in order to maintain a ready defensive posture (as peace was hardly a guarantee by the time the ReGZ was in the planning stages.)

Theta Plus is likely a better choice for most pilots over the monstrousity that is ZZ, while still being a one man army heavy assault MS.I'd say that Plus series is as good or even better than original at what they are supposed to be according their intended role on the battlefield.They aren't heavily compromised like MPT Zeta and ZZ for example.
