Probably. Sunrise is desperate now to collab with Osomatsu-san/Pierrot to promote things maybe to attract its fujos there.
The funny but pathetic part is Youichi Fujita stepped down from -san because of behind the scenes issues like Pierrot wanting the series progressively neutered and he was satisfied and took it as far as he could. It still continued with a worse fourth season under someone else, and for whatever reason this was his next project and he's just seeming to let it ride out. Guessing if it fails, he can just walk, and if it does succeed, he'll bait the fujobucks like he did with -san and Classicaloid until the novelty wears off.

For a frame of reference, it took some time to find out that Masashi (not Shigeru) Ikeda was booted from the original show over friction with Takara and there was a brief moment in 1989 he refused to be interviewed about YST at all for the Big Encyclopedia (which is where they also had a typo of "Shigeru" in furigana, which is probably why that one lady insists). Fans pointed out how vague yet damning his statement seemed to be about tensions.

Hardass idea: Whenever we see the Armor of the Supreme Emperor again, this one Love Live song has to play. Tsukasa Kotobuki has been throwing some shade at the show for a while now. Seems pretty salty that he went through the effort of designing the Ten Braves only for them to be shortchanged. New opening and ending visuals. Shockingly, it's the ending theme that has the homages to the second OPENING! Each of the places the new Troopers were given their own space for thinking are the exact same ones from the original show's second opening where the originals were training. It may be for visual effect, but it may serve as buildup for what will be the crux of the second cour: a training arc from the originals to their successors. While not many have seen the full details of the episode since 10 of these weeks will be overlapping with the new Ghost in the Shell, which is probably as long as the original manga, I have a feeling even Gai loses to the Heaven Realm as soon as he revives, which leads to the old and new Troopers regrouping with their newest boss, a Ryo fangirl, watching over them before they're ready to throw down again.

I honestly don't think it'll track. Initially it was thought that the "warrior beasts" were going to be based on the Four Symbols. But honestly they don't really bear any resemblance. Inmei doesn't come off a tiger-like to me. And, by extension, the others give no vibes of being a dragon, bird and turtle in any way. I think Sagume's liutenants and Byakuen are ultimately unrelated apart from their divine origins.

Idk, we got 12 episodes to see what they can do in any case. It feels like the other Second Gens are as forgotten as the Temu troopers, just being more meat to sacrifice and show the "life and death of samurai" as Muto wanted.
If they'd wanted to use the Demon General armors (at risk of angering fans who'd wonder where the old holders are), which are supposed to belong to the Youja World, Ryusei and the dead three could easily fill them but that wouldn't be likely.
The lore of the generals seemed to change as guide books went on, leaving aside certain fans' fanfic, though Memorials 2 and a Shuten light novel went with the idea that some of them were basically dead or dying when captured.

There's one person translating YSST articles, and an "anon" from the wiki (probably Irenka lbr) reached out to ask if the translations could be used. So they might be there or not yet.

Rules of the wiki:
1. Eastern order only for names, even if you have characters with names in Western order. Does this apply to staff of the show? Depends on the editor goddess Mezu is feeling that day.
2. No fanon or misinformation unless you're the almighty Mezu, which then the Masho and Braves content is not fanfic but pure fact. Where from? Her superior knowings of Buddhism that Japanese men bow to her in awe over.
3. Proper spelling and grammar unless you're Mezu. Correcting typos will have people shot on sight and left for her Discord to laugh at, take a lesson from what they did to that kid in April too. It is "Shigeru Ikeda", swine.
4. The Mezu decides what are facts and fiction, and who can translate outside the wiki. They'll all ask to use someone's stuff anyway if they so need it.
5. Even if someone has the same books or source from them, the wiki staff will consider their info fake news and theirs real for they are elite fanfic writers and those other editors probably aren't. How many Troopers A/B/O fics have you written to prove your prestige? Thought so.

Can anyone confirm the reason why some people came back to life and others like Mirei and Kaito's grandmother didn't? From what I understand, those two were hit/transformed with sorcery, which shares its roots with divine arts, but is not exactly the same thing as divine arts. And because of this, the divine art that Sagume cast over Tokyo to revive the kairai, could not affect them (since they're two separate powers).

That means when Ramaga transformed the people into kairai, he was using divine arts, but when he poisoned Mirei, or when Nezu hit Kaito's grandmother with the kunai, it was sorcery. Is this correct? So Ramaga and the Braves can use both sorcery and divine arts. But then, Inmei told Sasuke the sorcery they use is actually divine arts. I'm so confused with this part.

They could've just kept it as "Mirei etc al didn't come back because they were killed by the troopers and dissipated into white light". No need for the sorcery divine arts stuff.

Even if it does well somehow, it sounds like Fujita makes its ending sound finite. That could change always like with the original, but that was a different era. Think a different writer and director would be improvement for anything else but it may be too little too late.

Updated second cour key visual. Just like with AMAIM, it now shows the lead who's initially thought to be dead. Why it took this long to make the new visual? Redraw of a missing layer, probably? Why we didn't get this as soon as Gai came back last week is because Ramaga possessed him fully, but this time around, Ramaga is well and truly gone after this week's episode, and it made the character artist rush out to add him this late. But do you guys think it will be the only change? In the next few weeks, I expect the rest of the Troopers to finally gain their crests from their predecessors as part of a training arc to defeat the Four Divine Beasts.

This show is really weird. One minute the protagonist is hating on his father and killing the ten braves. Then the next minute they're all fine with each other and playing school mates. There really wasn't much conflict and nobody cares that these demons killed people just 3 months ago and have no problem doing it again.
