Is there a way to use lacquer paint to panel line with? It can't be as easy as putting a clear coat on the kit and then just thinning the paint and just letting it run on the panel line? Only other way that comes to mind would be a fuckton of masking tape just airbrushing the color.

On the subject of the GP02 HG, I kinda DON'T want it to get a Revive. The proportions aren't anime accurate but the bulky squashed look actually suits it really well. You just know if it gets a Revive it's going to be soulless Naoki trash like the Zeta and Qubeley Revives.

The build experience is extremely fun, highly recommended.The issues I have with this kit are:- The waist-to-torso joint is a ball joint unable to support the weight of the backpack, so the torso always slides upwards. You could spend an extra 30€ to buy a third part metal skeleton for it, I've seen a review and it seems to work perfectly.- There's only one set of fully articulated hands, I fucking hate those but maybe you don't.- The build of the backpack's missile launchers is straight up torture. It's a ton of identical fiddly parts that don't hold together at all until the final piece is placed.- Most large parts had visible sink marks for me, you kinda need to paint the armor at least (maybe a flat top coat could suffice?).Other than that, it's an excellent kit.

The gating on the red trim of the shoulderpad really fucked me up. Five really thick gates on a color that shows any minor imperfection really badly... This is about as good as I can get it with my glass file. I'm now leaning to more paint to hide it.
