A thing I really like about Victory is the theme of children being forced to grow up and lose their innocence because of the death/abscence of parents and adults.
Uso has fight and kill to protect everyone while Shakti is forced to basically become a mother to a small child, being only 11 herself. She's also what prevents Uso from completely losing it by end of the series
