>the only Dancouga Nova figure*laughs in durable ABS and POM*
*and soon laughs in PS and overly tight ABS joints*
>>23938735>>23938737Not max God.The good smile ones have yet to have a release date.
>I MUST buy plastic garbage
>>23938537A Destroid Spartan (Super Dimension Fortress Macross) that started collapsing when I finished assmembling it.
>>23939002Was it one of the old TT ones from the '80s?
I'm pretty happy with most toys I buy, but I think the SIC Drive is the only figure I've found flat out just not fun. Super stiff joints, could barely hold his sword or door gun, the tiny shift cars that disappear the instant you open the box. It was around the time they didn't put any diecast in the SICs too, when it would have felt great for Drive's super mechanical design. It's a shame too because I love the more detailed design, and the Rider 1 and New Den-O SICs I've got feel great.
>what if EDF but shit and stuck in what feels like a pre-alpha state>also, large parts drop in higher difficulty levels that only unlock after you finish the game
>>23938537basically all of CM's PVC figures are like that. I have a J-Decker that was made by them>leans forward at the ankles in a neutral pose>left knee is completely floppy >painted parts were done by an 70 year old going through opiod withdrawal>some of the pegs on the spare hands are way too thick to use, even if heats used>other spare hands joints are way too smalland this was when it was fairly newI regret not picking up their Raijin-oh (the DX figure, not the PVC ones) though when I had the chance despite its fragility
>>23939718Not just the PVC figs.A lot of their gokins and hard-plastic figs sucked ass, too, with parts yellowing, joints just crumbling (not snapping or cracking - CRUMBLING) by themselves and the sculpt quality leaving a lot to be desired. It's no wonder that they went under and their QUALITY was carried over to Evolution Toy.
>>23939063>Gokin in the name>Doesn't use Diecast Sasuga Bamco-sama
>>23939770Where did you get this pathetic picture? Tfw, 2ch, khinsider? Sucks that back in the day you were forced to use them for merch when it came to fringe IPs. Sadly the only good that came out of them were the diecast ingrams
I did like the Gutto Kuro stuff from CM, they're dated even by the 2010s and the scale is too large, but there's some nice parts there considering I wasn't paying more than like $70 per figure on the high end(and that was expensive back then, but a lot have blown up in the after market)I remember hearing the owner of the company committed suicide and they liquidated soon after.
>>23939937I think not long after that they changed it to Colosseum instead of Chogokin.
>>23938537To be honest? Every single model kit I buy. Because whenever I either get my hands on it or I open its box, my luck goes completely down the drain. As in, it just crashes into the worst possible luck where the entire world betrays me. Yes, every single model kit is a Pandora's Box, and I can no longer pretend it's mere LARP, it just is.
>>23940372Bandai? Tamiya? Goodsmile? Koto?
>>23940119>I remember hearing the owner of the company committed suicide and they liquidated soon after. What was that about?
>>23941356Well for my understanding, just like Hudson soft, an earthquake kind of did them in. Most of the money is holed up in a single bank because the CEOs and founders are buddies with the bank head. Then the banks go belly up and all your money goes poof after an earthquake.I think this also happened to Irem too. But, nonetheless, the brother is probably weren't making much money and then all their loans needed to be paid instantly so they were financially ruined.
