>>23953841FUCK yea, im seeing this
How much more money can they possibly squeeze out of this thing?
>>23953841>fathomnever mind
My only compulsion for wanting to maybe catch a showing is being able to watch the film, accompanied by the theater's sound system. Could make for a fun night out, but considering it's Fathom, won't be surprised if all the dates and times are complete shit.
>>23954520Local theatre did a run of it a few years back and that was a cool aspect (along with having a theatre full of tipsy nerds enjoying themselves in attendance), but that wasn't Fathom. If you ever run across a non-Fathom showing, I recommend it.
Hope we get some showings in the UK
>>23954525I get some indy stuff like that in my parts, but it's mostly Ghibli films. It can be fun, depending. What I'd actually like to see is a real film print of this moving being projected, not what is essentially just the 4K disc. As expected, the current dates & times for my nearest options all suck, so doubt I'll be partaking.
If it's not 4:3 I'm not interested.
Geewunners are pushing, what, 50 or 60 by now?
>Fathom One night only on a random Thursday at like 8:30 pm then?
>>23956660Not complaining, they can keep paying to fund Hasbro and Takara to make high budget live action movie, or even better a high budget anime that is not related to G1.
>>23953841But when is the Michael Bay Transformers coming back to Imax?
>>23953841HEY MILLENNIALS ! REMEMBER THIS!!!
>>23956941Soon™
didn't he already come back from the dead though
>>23957304Corporations are trying to get millennial money now that boomers are fading away and focusing on healthcare.Guess what Millennials have less money than their parents and children. There is no millennial money to be had.>>23957893Yeah in the American show, British Comics, and Japanese show. Plus during Gen 2 they put the movie back on tv
>>23953841Do you want to making fuck?
>>23957304>>23957966Millenials aren’t really G1 fans, it’s very late gen x. They do have money because they got into jobs before the big economy bursts and, if they were smart, got into decent jobs with minimal skill needed. There may have been some 5 year olds watching TFTM, but the core audience for G1 was 6-12. born around 73-1980. That age range definitely has money to feed the nostalgia market.Beast Wars is more solidly Millenial.
