I haven't watched GWitch yet and probably also a tourist since I'm pretty new to Gundam, but just wanted to agree with you that Char and Amuro is a shit pairing. Somebody will probably bust out that Tomino quote about like "their feelings are so intense that they come off as gay" but if anything that just makes the pairing worse, if they were actively trying to give it gay overtones but it still actually sucks
Gwitch is one of the weakest AUs even if you ignore how easily it fosters this sort of community
