I recently rewatched Combattler. The last episode still sucked but I actually found myself enjoyed the second half quite a bit this time around. There are some pretty strong episodes in there which makes for very entertaining television. I'll probably move onto Voltest and Daimos after. I got some other things I want to shuffle around my queue

Give the Shogun Warriors comics a read if you want more. Herb Trimpe and company did a good job making Combattler cool to an American audience.
