He is risking life and limb fighting for the freedom, independence, and betterment of a suffering downtrodden people who are distinctly not his own and doing his utmost to kill best opponents who will similarly show him no mercy when they don't have to. Crinn is fighting for the wellbeing of people who are not of his blood or his race against his father and family's wishes because he truly believes in their freedom from oppression that his own home foisted on them.
