>>23969097Think of it in these simple and reductive terms: the OVA had a monster episode, and then the TV series did the monster episode thing again, and then they made a movie version of the monster episode and it's not light and comedic at all but dark, brooding and dramatic once they reveal the monster.It's not a bad movie per se but kind of a black sheep. There's a cameo by the SV2 crew and it feels like they shoehorned it in for the sole reason that someone, somewhere, chose to make WXIII a Patlabor story, for some reason.
