It feels a lot more natural than Gavan despite this being way less grounded than Gavan.

>>23966853>>23965750I'm with this anon - I can't really come up with many critiques. It's a simple premise but is executed well and I caught myself uncontrollably smiling and laughing while watching. Tokusatsu PokeMonHun is a stellar premise and so far the execution has been really strong. I guess I would ideally like more physical suits for the Kakujuu but I understand why that isn't a thing so I'm rolling with it.
Man, I'm enjoying this show a lot. Might be my favorite couple of starting episodes for the timeslot since King-Ohger.
Shout's henshin form feels kinda tacked on like you MUST have a henshin hero for NichiAsa. Also a bit jarring since everyone are stuck in hobo cowboy technology level but no one bats an eye at the kid with a powered suit.

So its intentionally out of step with the rest of the setting.The question is is this because Reiji encountered some disaster in this universe and has amnesia and his shit was left abandoned? or is this Reiji just the Reiji of this universe and its Gavan is either long dead or never came to be and the "ancient secrets" Shout is going to uncover is that he basically lives in the "what if everything failed and went to shit" universe?

>>23965750Just watched the episode, my only complaint is the usual "the CGI looks wonky" but even then by modern toku standards the CGI looks good even though it isn't to the same level as King-Ohger or Zeztz of good.Aside from that pretty solid episode, the villain of the week was fun despite simple, Shout's road to becoming a hero is fun, they surprisingly had lots of practical props in the kaiju fight, the OST is fun, the Gavan segment while jarring was pretty entertaining which honestly just made me wish they had actually interacted more or at all in Gavan Infinity, the ED video is actually although it should have been an OP and Ivar seems like a fun rival so far, I liked how he interrupted his opponent.Also neutral point but I'm glad Enkaku just slapass the dogs instead fisting them.
