What shows would you like to see in SRW?
1. Date A Live2. Sky Girls3. Soukou no Strain4. Kannazuki no Miko5. FLAG
>>23971341Akame ga Kill, Generator Gawl, Kill la Kill>>23971368Which shows could pair well with FLAG? 00?
>>23971459>Which shows could pair well with FLAG? 00?As I suggested back in an /srwg/ thread, the original Mobile Suit Gundam. You could have it that prior to the Principality of Zeon making war, the Earth Federation sent a peacekeeping detachment to Uddiyana and that the current conflict that started because an armed cult stole the EF flag is backed by Zeon when they started the war. Have the HAVWCs be a separate project from Tem Ray's Project V and that the XR-2 was something Zeon engineers sent to back the armed cult built as a distraction.
Some day
>>23971341Kishin CorpsLast ExileGenerator Gawl Hagane no Oni Bots Master Guyver
Plamo Kyoshiro and the original Build Fighters series are really all I need
>>23971341I want non-anime Toku stuff in there. Showa Mechagodzilla would be awesome with all the weapon options for attack animations.
>>23971341Metal Gear Solid and Zone of The Enders. But only if Fullmetal Panic and Gundam IBO are also in.You know why.>>23971658>GuyverThat would've been great.
Ganba Legends: https://x.com/DCD_GANBARIDE/status/2085654786394018302
>>23971658>Kishin CorpsYou and me are nigs
>>23971341Digimon Xros Wars
anything but haremslop
>>23971478De-movie-ing in general would be the best thing
>>23971341in the unlikely event Hasbro's head is removed from it's ass, JG1 (esp Car Robots) or Unicron Trilogy in a game with J-Decker would be unmatched
>>23971341It’s somewhat startling that Dougram hasn’t shown up yet, it would be incredibly interesting as to how they’d tackle deloyer’s revolution in SRW. I know for a fact incorporating Vifam is near impossible because the show’s resolution would be solved almost instantly, even Megazone 23 only had one stage when it was represented in its sole appearance
>>23971459>Generator Gawlwow, someone other than me also saw that
>>23975495? GG is a core /m/ show
>>23975498Never saw it mentioned here before. Where would it even be discussed at, it's bio transformers, not mecha.
>>23975510Well that didn’t stop kamen rider from making an appearance ;)
Cold Steel/Sen no kiseki
>>23975510Lurk moar.
>>23975510He's trolling you, it's not a core /m/ show whatsoever
>>23975574It is though.
>>23975587In the 18 years worth of archived posts backed up Gawl is brought up more than a third of the time less compared to a show that we only first heard about four months ago. You're free to like the show, but it's nowhere close to being /m/ core.
>>23975596That's irrelevant, but I'm not gonna argue with a zoomer that thinks clout is important.
>>23975596I think KO Beast has come up more.
>>23975605Searching "KO Beast" and "K.O. Beast" add up to 162+62 = 178 total results, so that is right indeed if only by a small margin. Besides, KO Beast has infinitely more chances of being in a SRW simply because it's a Aniplex IP and not a Tatsunoko IP.
>>23975599Nah fuck you, I've got two decades here under my belt so sit back down. It has nothing to do with "clout" or "popularity", it's just a show nobody gave a crap about back then because it was it was one of the dozens of shows ADV was pumping out in the late 90s and was overshadowed by the more popular stuff like Evangelion and Nadesico (Just to name the /m/ related examples). It's just one of the many shows of the era that came and went without much fanfare like Steam DetectivesAs a result it barely got mentioned on early /m/, who was then more focused on talking about currently airing stuff like Kamen Rider Kabuto, Flag, or Code Geass, gushing over the then-new SRW@3, or talking about how shit Gundam Seed was for the millionth time. Even /a/ didn't talk about it much either. It never made it onto recommendation charts, it barely had threads made about it (Of the ones I did find they range from 5-30 posts max), and it never made any impact on the board whatsoever."Core /m/" as a statement should apply to shows that have had some form of major impact/history or staying power on this board, regardless of whether the show itself is any good. Gundam Seed Destiny is a core /m/ show. Gaogaigar is a core /m/ show. Valvrave is a core /m/ show. Gundam Build Fighters is a core /m/ show. SRW OG Moon Dwellers, Shin Mazinger, Kamen Rider Gaim, SSSS.Gridman, hell even shit like Symphogear is more "Core /m/" than a show nobody talks about.Again, this is not a statement of "Yeah Generator Gawl sucks because no one talks about it". It's going against the statement of "This show that no one gave a fuck about back then and doesn't give a fuck about right now is a staple of the board".
>>23975636Truly well said anon
>>23975636The whole idea of a CORE anything for anything screams of people trying too hard to fit in. It's the checklist mentality where dullards think they're suddenly part of the group because they followed instructions but have nothing to really add or comment.
>being this assblasted because you didn't watch a core /m/ showJust watch it if you fear not belonging this much?
>>23975621I wanted to check often Maze comes up, and while it came up almost a thousand times, I realize that the word Maze by itself probably isn't helpful. Megaburst Space comes up only a few times but most people also truncate titles so this will be a hard one to actually gauge.
>>23975776I'm surprised people don't talk about more often considering how much of a dumbass show it is. It's about the closest thing the 90s has to a Code Geass equivalentAnd half the time they do bring it up, it's just to talk about the movie being lost media. Anyway, it would certainly be funny in SRW even if Tomokazu Seki isn't what he used to be
>>23975816>It's about the closest thing the 90s has to a Code Geass equivalentThe fuck does that even mean? Whatever it does I don't think you've seen enough 90s anime.
>>23975816>Code Geass equivalentAnon, Maze is a raunchy comedy with the occasional robot action, and robots aside, it has nothing in common with Code Geass, not even in levels of popularity back then.
>>23975829I swear every time I think a Geass fag can't say anything dumber they manage to keep talking.
>>23975825>>23975829It means a really fucking shamelessly stupid off the rails show that tries hard to be as over the top and dumb as possibleI did not mean to imply that there were any similarities in terms of plot, characters or whatever
>>23975877Just stop talking. You don't know what words mean.
>>23975877The only implication here is that you are a dumbass, just shut up.
>>23975890>>23975896Fuck both of you pedantic shitheads, it's people like you that are responsible for this site being completely miserable. And it's even worse because you can't even commit to your pointless vitriol over stupid trivialities, one post with a little bit of an honest reply and all you have to respond with are empty expletives. You are worthless human beings.
>>23975901Honestly stupid reply is more like it.
>>23975901This whole thread has been "pedantic retard gets butthurt over words" today
