How do feel about Mikazuki?
I haven't watched his show yet
How do feel? Don’t know. Not watch show.
>>23972724Wasted potential.
Completely stupid wasted potential not covering events of Calamity War. The unit name is also hilariously cringe. IBO is as fujoshit pandering than 00 or Wing.
>>23972789Retard alert.
Solid character. I feel like everyone was let down by Season 2, it really hurt it to be so different from Season 1 which was great.
>>23972724Barely actually a character.
>>23972793Kill yourself, Calamity War hater.
>>23972724Based midget that mogs the Witches.
Lacking like a cardboard cutout for every Gundam protag in the last decade. The last good protags in Gundam were in Thunderbolt
>>23972724Not much of an mc but head honchos main head hunter. I get that they were trying to make orga the brains of the duo but they did not develop the main cast enough to make it work. Still he's a fun take on gundam protags being ammoral murderhobos.
>>23972724charisma black hole, possibly the worst protagonist of all timeI get being like that is the point but it's still FUCKING BORING
Honestly I think he's one of the better characters in the show but that's not really saying much. I actually like that he doesn't have a real character arc and he more or less stays the same throughout the show and just adapts to circumstance.
>>23972724>Rival antagonist but as mcI mean when you think about it, he was mogging everyone in the series.
>>23972789>nooo you can't have any mystery or intrigue, you MUST explain EVERYTHING!!midwit reddit take
>>23973512>Rival antagonist but as mcWhat. The rival would be focused on the mc, that's their primary shared characteristic. He didn't really care about any of his enemies.
>>23972724He is like my Patrick Bateman

>>23972724"What if Gundam, but also a Yakuza movie for a teen audience?" is a pretty wild concept, you gotta admit.
>>23972724I like how he starts, but then it seems like he has no development in 50 episodes, and even Orga's death seems to affect him too little considering that for 50 episodes, Mika seems to have almost an adoration for him.Mika's speech upon Orga's death seems also out of character because Mika has never demonstrated such a level of leadership in 50 episodes, and then out of nowhere he starts giving inspirational speeches. For this reason, I think the story derailed at a certain point to chase other characters (Gaelio or the author self insert). I expected Orga's death from episode 1 and Mika forced to evolve accordingly, but the way they did it in the show doesn't make sense to me.
If he raped Carta issue and maybe went out of his way to capture more female pilots and rape them too, he would have probably been a more realistic depiction of a child soldier.
>>23978272>we get fed and they have a witch doctor who hands us spells that will protect me from those mobile suit beam cannons.
>>23978272He already had two wives.
>>23972724He literally got worse as the show went on. Like, in the first cour he actually had some characterization, interesting interactions with other cast members, and wasn't a flat cardboard cutout. Everything from the second half of S1 onward could basically just be summarized as doing what Orga tells him to do. He was just boring to watch because he had negative character development.
>>23972724very confusing character development. Like he was clearly meant to be a flat static character. You can make barbs sentient and it wouldn't change the anime much.
>>23972724Feral monster child central character that trades off basic charisma for sheer competence in terms of piloting. Also gets lost in the sauce way too much because of extraneous things always happening around him he's barely involved outside of combat.Okada badly needed to understand that moral ambiguity does not equate that your protagonists should be kill crazy psychopaths.
>>23972724I think he's pretty neat he's the Anti-Newtype protagonist in a way. He never grows to understand his enemies repeatedly cutting down people whose deaths make his group's situation worse. He loses parts of his body rather than parts of his mind as the story goes on the inverse of how a Gundam Protag normally goes. I think his character would have been better if he ultimately survived the final fight, not won but survived Barbatos is still scrapped and he probably lost his ability to use his last functional leg but he isn't killed he lives and as an act of "mercy" he and the remaining members of Tekkadan are spared by Rustal as child soldiers being manipulated by McGillis Fareed as a full turnabout of the normal reach an understanding plot Gundam has. Afterwards he's added to the final scene with his two wives wheelchair bound with a small smile on his face playing with his son having found a small bit of happiness in a world that he always thought he wouldn't be able to live in.
>>23979067I don't think child soldiers would have morals, it's just "what benefits my gang".
