It's a spoof on the whole genre. You watch it for that reason. If you've watched a lot of mecha shows you would enjoy it. Honestly it's kind of not fantastic on its own.

>>23987354To be fair you have to have an extremely high IQ to understand Nadesico. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of mecha anime most of the references will fly over the typical viewer's head.

while the Latin American Spanish dub was not great, i rewatched in sub, and is still entertaining. Its a shame how things ended.
