When I was little I really liked Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, and had a huge crush on Rose. When I went online to discuss the show and look at pictures and extra materials, turns out everyone hated it, and I even got some active hostility for liking it. I still think Rose is incredibly cute and the story with 2 villain factions is cool and the indiana jones theme has potential. Also once a ranger was pretty kino for me at the time

Doing a straight adaptation of Shinkenger isn't a problem in itself so much as Samurai removing or changing a lot of contexts for those plotlines to make sense and I know people weren't happy about Super Megaforce keeping footage of pre-Zyu teams with no explanation for them other than "new powers never seen before." Also, I think Nickelodeon would only allow 20 episodes per season and didn't Toei refuse to let them skip Goseiger, so they combined it and Gokaiger together.
