Hibimiku feels volatile because even when there isn't drama between them, it always feels like a "when" rather than "if" as to whether or not it will happen again. I can only imagine as they get older Miku will become more and more unhinged and abuse Hibiki further, and Bikki isn't bright enough to understand she's being mistreated/Miku will always make it her fault. One day Hibiki will come into work with her nose smashed in after she forgot to get Miku a present for their 5th anniversary, muttering "heiki hecchara" under her breath on repeat with her empty gaze cast downwards and shoulders shrugged low. Who is talking to her? Hibiki can't learn she's being mistreated - she'll lose her that way. Miku checks Hibiki's phone while she's asleep. Her most recent text is with Chris. "Take care, dummy." she wrote. Hibiki responded with a seemingly innocuous heart emoji, but Miku is enraged. She screams at Hibiki and starts shaking her. Hibiki cries into her pillow, just waiting for the abuse to be over and for Miku to hug her and tell her she loves her, just like she always does after their fights. Tonight is different though. Miku is absolutely losing it. She's rampaging, breaking shit, furious that Hibiki is confiding in Chris and not trusting her abuse is "for her own sake" anymore. There has been no news since.I haven't heard any news of Satelight being killed, but they really don't have Symphogear and Macross anymore. There's basically zero chance the Symphogear movie is actually being animated by Satelight, it seems like all the staff were overworked as fuck and literally only stayed around to finish Symphogear. Then they went to KAI and noticed they're being overworked there too.If Symphogear actually values the staff members over studios as much as stuff like the XDU opening switch and Nagomi literally being allowed to sell Symphogear merch implies, that could explain why the movie is still MIA. Nagomi doesn't seem powerful/staffed/evil enough to get an entire anime movie out, but Kaneko and the like probably really want it to be Nagomi because they've made the entire show for a decade with some of these guys.
