>>24014001Really I think that's one aspect of Kallen they failed to explore. She has to have extended family both on her mothers and fathers side. Could have had interesting character growth with both sides warring in some form or another. Hell with her being a Black Knight her father and by extension the Stadtfeld family should have had Britannia bring the hammer down on them. R2 could have really showed that when she was captured. Could have had most be executed while others try to go after her for bringing the family low. Explored more on who her father is and could do a twist like him actually supporting Naoto till his death. Probably would have broke the dude if he was actually a loving father, depression making him distance himself with his actual loved ones. On the opposite side we could have had the Kōzuki side hating on her at first till they learn about her being the BK's Ace. Have flashbacks showing them disowning her mother and treating both her children horribly because they are "Half-Breeds". Show that they are two faced in their national pride saying that they always "supported" Kallen and Naoto. Seriously the dynamic with her being half and half would have showed nuance with two nationalities hating one another and those in-between.
