From there they continued to get pushed further north by Garma's pursuit forces and were just given orders to deploy for Europe to assist in the planned Operation Odessa since pushing back through North America wasn't viable. By the time Odessa had concluded and they finally made it Jaburo, Matilda's reports on the White Base already gave the Federation most of the practical data they needed for the GM-series, rendering their eventual arrival to Jaburo as being far less necessary. (Technically it was detrimental since the White Base accidentally lead Char to Jaburo)
