Their stuff falls into three categories>Continuations or Adaptations of existing franchises/manga (Macross, Hellsing Ultimate, Fairy Tail)>Their few shows that actually got a strong enough following that they milked them for what they're worth (Aquarion, Symphogear, AKB0048)>Random shit that came as fast as it went (Kiss Dum, M3, Nobunaga the Fool, Sakugan, etc)The problem is most of their stuff falls in the latter category, and most of it as of late has been trash. Outside of Red Ranger in Another World, their output has been pretty trash for the last 5 years. The new Macross is getting done by Sunrise instead of them, the Symphogear movie has been in production limbo for years with only very recently getting a few comments from VAs saying "Yes it's still happening just wait", and their golden child Aquarion's latest entry bombed horribly even with the most diehard fans. Not to mention the whole "A bunch of the staff left years ago" thing another anon brought up.tl;dr Satelight's output has always had more lows than highs and they will probably never reach the height they had in the late 2000s/early 2010s again.
