Hyaku Shiki was outdated when it was being made. Mk II? OMG the ones in Stardust are better. It's also barely updated for what Zeon could bring to the table. Titans outdid it in months. No other series had such clunkers as frontrunners of the show or conflict.

Gundam exists so we can see cool robots fighting on screen, and Tallgeese is better at it than "unicorn if it was a poledancer"

I mean the only real answer is the Unicorn. There’s designs I like less but nothings hyped up like the Unicorn. It’s basically the secondary poster child for the entire franchise at this point. My personal pick is the strike freedom, which I think is the dorkiest fucking design they ever made. It’s like if “special boy heterochromia anime protagonist” was personified in an MS.
