You know how the head fin is supposed to be red The 2 pack one did not do anything to it so you have to paint it yourself but zoo's actually painted it red along with other colors on some other parts. I don't like this as they painted the parts while they are still connected to the sprue. You will have a nasty missing color on the pieces after taking them out. I'm planing my Gquuuuuux Gyan Eos, and thinking of adding some parts, and make a UC 90s-ish unit like a Gelgoog Vertex equivalent for the Gquuuuuux Gyan. I have a surplus Megami Device Bullet Knight Shield, do I modify it to attach to the regular shield and give it a gimmick(was thinking something like a hiden beam cannon/I-field like the Rozen Zulu, and the shield slits in half to reveal the gimmick), or do I use it as is like the regular Gyan Eos shield , but larger?

Fancier nano ones are pretty strong and can completely burn off details and curves into a glossy flat sheen in seconds with just a few swipes. People with gorilla hands and a lack of finesse then proceed to call glass files as satan's dildos and the worst thing ever.Generic no name glass files can range from pretty good to absolute fucking garbage.>Is the soapy water necessary during use or only post for cleaning?Use water, sticking it to a strap of masking tape and pulling it off, rubbing on microfiber cloth, fucking tapping it into your table or your jeans. Pick whatever works for you. Pulverized plastic builds up on these stuff really fast so pick the cleaning method that is the least pain in the ass for you.

For MG, the detail increase is random as Marasai, Geara Doga, Hazel and so on are just giant version of their HG selves with very minor, unoticable air vents. Bandai don't always indiscriminally adding details to the design due to them having numerous project directors with different tastes. No one complaint about Hardgraph MBT or Ex Model Magella being 10 times more detailed than their anime counterpart because the art direction actually fits the subject. A samurai mecha with wings should look cartoony rather than the weird mismatch of realism and campy superhero design language that both the Chinks and Bandai have been subjecting it to.

I just tried Gaia's Grey surfacer for the 1st time and wow, it's so much better than Mr.Hobby's. the grey actually has strong coverage. the painted parts actually become completely grey unlike Mr Hobby's where I can still see a shade of original color under the grey. That's because plastic can grip the paint decently well enough on its own. It won't generally be as good as with primer and it depends on the brand, thickness, type of plastic etc but you can generally make it work. Primers are very important when working with other materials; as in, essential or there will be no bond made at all. Plastic isn't quite like that, but it all still works a lot better with primer because it's designed to chemically bond with the surface. Basically, it's glue for paint, and that's way more important with materials other than plastic but is still useful for plastic.

I have Gundam Marker EX "moonlight butterfly" that I'd like to use for my HG Gundam X. How do I use the paint inside with a normal airbrush instead of something like picrel? Any tips on how to decant these in pots?

What color is the psycho Gundam? Most kits and their color guides just go for basic black, but the animation, and some games definitely make it out to be a kind of hazy purple. I'm just looking for general opinions before I go buying paint for my next build.
