>>24028619Honestly, this is mostly a problem of Toho turning Godzilla into the main character after DAM, so he gets all the focus. Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster was much more a Mothra movie than it was a Godzilla one, and he’s not even the most important part of the trio taking on Ghidorah. During the fight, he mostly just tanks hits while Rodan and Mothra actually do damage. In the early and mid Showa series, it feel like a shared universe where Godzilla just happened to be one Kaiju among many. But as time went on, he stuck around for film after film, while the others fell by the wayside and stopped getting so much focus.
