Forgot to post before, don't left any of the onee-sans out!https://x.com/vertexforce/status/2105257478191776183
https://x.com/vertexforce/status/2105991193993822362There I finished it for you anon
Big sisters love lusting after their little brothers.
It's shit.
>>24037661I enjoyed it.
it's mid. But I like the sis so I'll stick with it.
?
>>24030766>actually its shota shitfuck. wasn't in any of the pvs.
Did they pick a really unfortunate art style or were the 2D segments legit AI genned? I liked the first episode, the OP was pretty bad but the ED was fun.
>>24037805Sister's taller friend have bouncing chest too
I came here for ass and will stay for the onee-shota.Also I think the MC thing is not really aiming to be strong, but really he is just short for a 13-yo and wants to be taller NOW.
>>24036993>The boring design is a model kitThat's a shame.
>>24037879Noice.
>>24040758It's a nice design tasteless kun
>>24042173It's not.
>>24042194>>24040758base robot's fine, and is a nice break from the greeble shit everyone is shitting out recently.
I liked it. I think the creepshots were out of place tho.
>>24040758you know i would take a boring design over straight up bad ones at this point
>>24042277Its the only thing that makes otakus engage. Cope
>>24042277>I think the creepshots were out of place tho.that's par for the course for modern harems
>>24042476Retard.
>>24042277Glad I'm not the only one who think that, but I also think the shots are being added in because the director behind it is a lolicon ecchi afficionado who previously worked on a number of anime that catered to his and his fans' preferred fetishes. Even if VF will be relatively more toned down fanservice-wise, it doesn't mean he wouldn't still add some totally necessary scenes here and there to appeal to his folk.
>>24042173Yeah, it's nice. It's just also boring. I don't disagree with >>24042273 and >>24042281 though. Boring IS better than greeble'd and ugly. It just doesn't motivate me to buy a kit, esp at the ~$50 most sites want for it; and when the other engines look more interesting, I just wind up thinking I'd rather have a kit of those.
>>24042503Go back to bluesky.
>>24042520not a fan of the engine butts the mecha stands have. And shotamech is cool enough as a base mecha if they do combine with the stands.
US and Swiss onee-sans joined the party. So far so fine.
Ah Classic misunderstanding. One of my most hated japanese tropes still being played.
this board is so fucking dead
Based boob jiggle physics on swiss and onee-san falling on her big chest shot.
>>24044640>referencing characters by their country or origin instead of their namesYou know what other show's fanbase did that? Infinite Stratos. Which bodes ill for the show.
>>24045118It is.
>>24045118Can you blame them? I mainly only come to /m/ for some legacy franchise related stuff contained in generals since they won't really garner much discussions on /a/ + the gunpla general. Outside of those, /m/ has serious issues with dedicated schizos shitting up individual threads while jannie do fuck all. Of course most people end up just going to /a/ for new anime discussions.
Holy fuck, episode 3 was really really bad, it's only made a little better in that the writers and episode directors made Yoko's story really corny and sometimes unintentionally funny to the point of being entertaining at times, also the way she overcame her trauma was so lame and too quick too.I can already predict the rest of the show will follow the exact same formula where the characters are under a precarious situation in the most forced way possible before they use their Engines to defeat a Battlenoid in a very uninspiring fashion, too. Can't wait for Akira to defeat and forgive EDVA with his power of love and make her a part of his harem for the lulz.
>MC have done nothing but jobThe gun bitch is currently the worse for causing most fuck ups in this episode alone.
This bitch needs some punishment.
>>24050950Oh come on, anon, at least have some damn patience before resorting to AI...
Today's episode is a bit better than the last one, but still far from being good and the writing gives off a rather careless approach with a very tight pacing, it feels like it tends to jump from point A to point B for whatever reason. And even after 4 episodes, I still don't even know who EDVA is.
>>24042503They called him kokantoku because he is the crotch director
>>24055664Unfortunately for most shows these days that aren't major blockbusters, AI lewds are all you're gonna get.
>>24055975Just like I said, both Dandivine and Vertex Force are gonna kill mecha at the same time.
>>24056186>>24056210Vertex Force I can see is at least actively trying to put in some actual effort and focus, even if the result is not that great, but at least it's not as bland as Dandivine is.
>>24056186>gonna kill mechAnon mecha has been a mostly-dead genre for the last 15+ years. It doesn't sell to the masses for a variety of reasons including the grim reality that waifu garbage will always sell better than robots. Mecha has been a dead genre. Irrelevant beyond a few series trucking along on inertia and nostalgia.
>>24056222it's fairly active in the gaming indie scene. But utterly fucked in anime. For some reason this genre is cursed to have the shittiest writing staff.
>>24056230Oh sure it has its fans! Myself included. The issue is that the genre just has a very niche appeal and as the market for anime has grown and generations shifted the special position it held as one of Japanese animation's golden goose genre has completely been lost. It sucks but that is the reality.
>>24056222>>24056230>>24056239This is why in a thread in /a/ I argue that, what we need is an "action" genre, where you can anything as long as there's action. Mecha included. Treating mecha as its own genre isn't worth it anymore.
Retarded cockmongling faggot
>>24056222I think it's a little more complex than that. Waifus have been a constant element in mecha anime since it started to gain popularity. I don't think Tetsujin 28-go had one, but Aphrodite from Mazinger and Fyana from VOTOMS come to mind for Super and Real robot respectively. The real issue is at some point the surge of newfags (I assume) overtook people who care about anime. This goes for every genre, mecha just got hit harder because of the extremely annoying vocal "I don't like mecha but I like X" crowd. Waifu characters that were eyecandy for people who are already enjoying the show became the center of attention, people who don't care about robots started "watching" just for it (NGE, TTGL, Frankx, Gridman, Witch Gundam) with total disdain for the genre, and those people are also prone to wasting their money on anything, so in terms of revenue they blow all other shows out of the water. When you start to consider that a bunch of mecha shows were made primarily to sell toys, knowing before a show is even greenlit that it won't sell unless it has fanservice everywhere kind of kills it in the womb. It was already on life support after waves of mediocre shows in the 00s, Frankx and Gridman just pulled the plug on it. Goon or bust.
>>24056213I'll take bland over (harem)shit
somebody pointed out on my channel how Vertex Force if you're just skimming listings looks like Valtrex Forcewhich could probably make for a really funny doujin where they have to keep their herp flareups from getting in the way but then they use that to fight the baddies like how these guys are shitting out robot STANDsalso I want an SOL of the Zoloft blob and other medication mascots
>>24057786Nah, harem is the best genre.
>>24056458The 2000s were still decent. You can tell they tried to revive the genre with Eureka Seven and TTGL after what Evangelion did. But unfortunately, it wasn't enough. Mecha as a genre was put in a weird place, along with magical girls, although these shows were less affected. People in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s had such heavy disdain for these genres, even though they had never watched anything other than TTGL, Eva or madoka. You can still see that attitude among legacy AniTubers, like Gigguk.
>>24061146Anitubers have always been turbo normalfags and I don't think their opinions should ever be given the time of day, even if the general trend you are talking about is still true.
>>24061146>You can tell they tried to revive the genre with Eureka Seven and TTGL after what Evangelion did. But unfortunately, it wasn't enough.Absolutely laughable retard opinion lmao
>>24061146>You can tell they tried to revive the genre with Eureka Seven and TTGL after what Evangelion did. But unfortunately, it wasn't enough.Mecha was still going strong at the time, really. It was just fans of old shows complaining about how the new shows were different, but there was still a fairly consistent output of mecha anime in the 00s. It's afterwards that there's a big fall off.Probably because all series trying to copy Code Geass or Gundam SEED failed and for whatever reason Gurren Lagann seemed to be just ignored and didn't have much of an impact of future new series. Then you had Shin Mazinger's failure back in 2009, which really seemed to cripple the number of new Dynamic Pro robot shows from this point on.
>>24061232TTGL couldn't have impacted anything because it is entirely derivative and TRIGGER's non-LWA output were nothing but "remember when we made TTGL? lol that was epic" which remained that way until they got lucky with Edgerunners. It also didn't drag anybody into mecha because the average anime-watching normalfag hated everything that wasn't the most generic slop shonen or ecchi, and the only reason they watched TTGL was because it was sold to them as shonen and Yoko was in it. For post 2010 anime normalfags, they would only check it out because it was "good mecha show even though I don't like mecha because robots suck and I hate them (I also haven't actually ever watched any mecha ever)".
>>24061237>TTGL couldn't have impacted anything because it is entirely derivativeI mean, it could have an impact if people only come into contact with those ideas through it.>and TRIGGER's non-LWA output were nothing but "remember when we made TTGL? lol that was epic"They were Trigger style stuff, but they weren't mecha shows, and even something like Kill la Kill was much more episodic than Gurren Lagann too even if it had similar style for action. There weren't actual Gurren Lagann clones even from Trigger.
>>24061137its the best of the worst. Its like Isekai levels of bad and how they flood the market but none of them good.
>>24061208But they still hada large audience and what they used to say had some influence on people who whatched them. Nowadays it's just twitter and the 5h youtuber essays who do that. >>24061622True
