One further note, I was actually dubious on whenever making a thread here given the cliché theme but IN SPACE, so after reading the manga adaptation so far, I say it does work, specially given the scope of the adaptation covered on the PV.The power armor the MC purchases also helps.

I've read like five of the novels. It's okay. My big issue is that the author, at least for the books I've read, sticks with his formula too hard. MC meets girl. Goes on an adventure where he doesn't struggle or sweat in the slightest. Then adds girl to harem/crew.
I hate Japanese plot. In 2026, even Americans sci fi is better. Even trash russian sci fi movies have better plot.

With this, it doesn't help that Hiro really doesn't have a goals beyond "1. Buy a house. 2. Find Coca-Cola 3. Get pussy". And there's not really any sort of actual escalation. I think Mob Otome and Evil Overlord are better as far as sci-fi shit goes. At least you see the heroes train and struggle just a bit more there. Little more personality to them too.
