Similar to the original anime, no pantyshots or nudity. The designs are closer to the manga's though, while the OG anime butchered some designs that really didn't need to be changed.

Not really clear. Keep in mind New Keroro should have been in this episode already. In the manga, Fuyuki just escapes to the control room after Kururu gives him a distraction and then New Keroro appears at the end in the robot to push Mother Blackstar to space.

Kind of funny they went with 20XX for the date to avoid what the original anime did with specific real time dates which make no sense due to the characters not being allowed to age more than one year.

I hadn't realized it before, but they're doing the Keroro - Natsumi bodyswap chapter. I always loved that chapter in the manga, but it was completely butchered in the original anime.

The manga has Keroro having fun with Natsumi's body, taking a bath with Giroro afterwards then Natsumi finds him out and beats them up, which Keroro then records as footage of himself beating up Natsumi to send to his father. Then the switch is undone, Natsumi furiously beats up Keroro and Kururu in their actual bodies.

The OG anime changed it into a "everyone has problems in life" cliche bodyswap story, where Keroro gets tired helping out school clubs while Natsumi has problems doing home chores with Keroro's body, then they undo the switch.

Obviously they won't do nude Keroro/Natsumi, but I just really like the overall flow of the original story over what the OG anime did with it.

Episode 2 is out. Chapters 1-3 from the manga. Even though it's split in two stories, you really feel like it's 3 stories, just with a super rushed one in the middle.

Aki's arrival originally was just combined with the end of the 1st chapter from the manga in the original anime, when Keroro counter attacks she arrives, rather than Fuyuki, he is also caught alongside Natsumi. While here they actually adapted the 2nd chapter separately, just rushing through it.
