Bored and looking to expand my mecha horizons. Post rare mecha, that is, individual mechs or a type of mech that has zero to no recognition or merchandise. Can be as old as you want or as new as you want, the cap for rarity is three candy toys and two garage kits. Those were kinda like choose your own adventure books but IIRC you kept track of your characters stats that influenced the outcomes of events as you read.Anyways, my submission for an obscure mech. Nobody knows much about Herzog Zwei these days but IIRC it was one of the first proto-RTS games.

battletech/mechwarrior itself isn't obscure but there's legit hundreds of designs that never see the light of day outside of the enthusiast tabletop gamer that makes up a small portion of the total fanbase...and a lot of them are fucking hideous looking! not all, but jeez, they sit in the dustbin for a reason
