To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Starlight and Trixie. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Starlight's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation - her personal philosophy draws heavily from Starswirl the Bearded's literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Starlight and Trixie truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Starlight's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Haycarte's Canterlotian epic Treatise on Ponies. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Josh Haber's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Starlight and Trixie tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. One time we packed seven people in a stationwagon for like a 6 hour trip and a friend and I had to sit in the trunk space since we were the smallest lol. Hotels are nice, can easily fit two per bed (though sometimes someone can accidentally roll over or take most of the blanket) and plenty of floor space to sleep on. Once we had a guy that really did snore so fucking loud like a wild boar, those of us still awake were giggling our asses off at the absurdity. Back in the day we stayed over fellow gamer's homes willing to host us so sometimes you got to have a couch, staying at someone's house was comfy because they usually had gaming setups ready to play. I've slept on every surface, even bare on the floor with just my backpack as a pillow. All the "minor inconveniences" is just part of the adventure experience and if anything going through such trials together only strengthens friendship or creates new ones if you're with someone new.
