However, I will at least admit that the writers of MLP never gave MistyFags the middle finger and told us that they want us to all kill ourselves, unlike the case with GollyFags. I really do not care what randos say, but that level of hatred making its way into the show—and even being used against my beloved Cozy Glow—it’s just rough, man. Misty was like the opposite of Cozy Glow in a lot of ways. She got the ending she deserved; an ending all about love, instead of the worst possible ending she ever could’ve gotten. But their opposites do bring them together. In a lot of ways, they tell the same story; it’s just that Cozy Glow’s story was taken over by an evil narcissist hellbent on actively making the show worst, and Misty’s story was outlined by competent storytellers, even if the episode writers maybe could’ve had a teeny bit more talent in terms of the finished scripts. At least the stories themselves were the opposite of evil; a statement totally untrue for what those evil shitheads of Season 9 gave us.By the way, I’m not 100% positive, but I think the person most responsible for that godawful, evil ending was Michael Vogel. Yeah, he was not the showrunner, but did you know he used to be the vice president of Hasbro? It’s true. He’s some nepobaby bitch that got his writing job, not at all based on merit, then forced his terrible, terrible, EVIL ideas onto the real writers. I think he used his position of authority (even if it was mostly former authority; he still obviously holds sway in the company) to tell people like Josh Haber what to do. Which isn’t much of a defense, because those bitches still should’ve fought against him, but they were simply cowards. And being a coward, while bad, is not quite as evil as being the one who has the idea come into your head, “Let’s kill the kid.” But nonetheless, I still condemn ANYONE responsible for the scene, and emotionally, I’m even upset with the VAs for being willing to read that piece of shit. I know it’s not their job to tell the writers what to write, but there comes a time when you get a script SO bad that you simply have to refuse to read it. Killing the kid was that time. Fuck you, Vogel!!! And fuck you Haber too, for good measure! And if I’m incorrectly assessing who the most responsible person here is, then fuck whoever the fuck they are!!!!!!Misty’s story was the opposite, but also the same. Cozy Glow would be just as hated by “fans” if they gave us the ending we deserve, because Bronies hate love. But that’s a better fate. Appeasing Bronies was NEVER the point of the show. Goddammit!
