Why is Prince Blueblood the only pony in the show that has a nobility title especially one implying to be related to the rulers while not being a alicorn?
He was supposed to be a Duke but Hasbro figured little girls wouldn't know what a Duke is. There's probably plenty of noble families in Canterlot.
