The only characters she really has connections with are all side characters like Sonia and her sisters, getting lusted for by Aleena sometimes and tried to be Knuckles friend a couple times. She's a very fringe character.
SU is the Sonic and Bartleby show so they and characters close to them are the ones who get screen time. I don't see her ever being friends with Sonic or Bartleby so the only time she'd really get to shine is in slice of life episodes focusing on Sonia like the last time she had a big spot light on her.
I'm happy about seeing glimpses of her being cute doing something funny like talking about being really religious and hating gays but I doubt she's going to get a real serious focus.

There's no way to know with the channel deletions. Also that's what a collab is for. The musicians get their hands dirty by asociating with Tamers because most people think he's problematic media anyways. There's plenty of fan music stallion Tamers hasn't used. Doctor Robotnik Has Had Enough was what solidified Tamers as being geniuses, IMO. I always knew there was a light shining under all the shitposty exterior but that was the first time where I truly understood the vision. Easily my pick for top SU episode. Maybe too good, It got me so invested in Tamers' SU that I refused to engage with the Pony stuff until pretty late last year and I feel like I kind of missed the boat here.

I've always wondered what they could do if they fully committed to a plot. Stallion Tamers does this well for me, despite all my nitpicks. Oh yeah, I definitely kick myself pretty damn hard for putting off the pony stuff for as long as I have. I figured that since I don't care about or know anything about MLP that I would just wait for them to go back to SU. Turns out the pony stuff is everything that makes Tamers' work special cranked up to 11. This contrast is also one of the major reasons, I feel, that makes Care Package's Dad work so well as a character. In any other work, he wouldn't be all that special but since he's juxtaposed against all the pettiness and wacky cruelty of the rest of Tamers's Equestria, it makes his calm demeanor and straightforward kindness shine brighter. This, in turn, makes it all the funnier when he's caught off guard by Apple Bottom's antics ("daddy, can you pass the salt?" or their two major scenes together in Bad Influence)

Yeah, I first watched all of the MLP stuff in one thirty-hour sitting. The only real break I took was after Soarin and Braeburn; I just sat staring at my screen for three hours straight, digesting what I just witnessed. Shit fucked me up. Nearly everyone I've introduced the series to has legit cried at that episode. I never expected that from the fecal funny Sonic Underground guys and is one of the reasons I'll never forgive myself for doubting them after the pivot to pony stuff. That being said, I do think Infection might teeeechnically be a better episode in terms of pacing, the amount of character arcs it's juggling, etc., even if it's not as genuinely gut wrenching as S&B.

I like Infection but wish Friendship and Arinos had more appearances before the big movie. I can understand Friendship's motivations and wanting to get the magic back. But Arinos came out of nowhere and there's never an explanation to why he knows what he knows. I feel like time travel diminishes the importance of what's at stake and I can be here nitpicking every inconsistency but overall I think that the Soarburn arc had a simpler setup and enough time to develop through the first season.

The sincerity is 100% the secret sauce that makes Tamers's work work. The big Arinos thing that bugs me is his appearance in Care Package's flashback at the beginning of Twilight Sparkle Fights A Clown. like, what was that about? He's created in Infection, sealed in the knife, sent back in time, then released in TSFAC and the plot continues like normal. When did he have the time to end up that far in the past? I feel like there's supposed to be some kind of implication with that scene but nothing's come of it yet. Is he the reason Care Package is the way he is or something? Hopefully this gets touched on later. That being said, I only just now noticed that it makes no sense for him to be around post-Infection if he got sent back in time. Oh well, time plots are infamously annoying to deal with and Tamers' strength as a writer is centered around his character work, anyway, so it doesn't really matter if any of that is consistent. I'm just stuck thinking about what that first shot of Arinos was intended to imply.

I've gave this lots of though before so the only conclusion I can reach is that it's an unfinished plotpoint.
During Infection I found odd how Soarin feels so compassionate towards Care Package with how little he knows him and with how much he antagonized him. So I was thinking maybe that "deleted" scene could be Arinos showing Soarin what Care Package's life was like or smth. Instead of that he goes like "I searched ya up on google".
Why would he do that? No clue. Maybe that's why he didn't go for that idea.

I know people are gonna roll their eyes at this take, but I don't care because I want Tamers to see this. The reason his series is losing views is how hard some of you guys push stallions. Early on his videos had the same feeling as the original cartoon because the emotional core was centered around mares. And you need mares front and center for the atmosphere to feel distinctly pony.
And as always a fan projects is slowly being buried under layers of fandom influence. And yeah, I’m sorry, but a lot of that influence come from bronies wanting stallions and self-insert characters shoved into everything. Especially seen with these musician OCs.
You can literally prove it by looking at what people actually click on. Go sort videos by popularity on YouTube. The thumbnails are mares. The iconic fan animations are mares. The viral songs are usually centered around mares. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Princess celestia, ect. Those characters will carry this fandom forever because they are eternally relevant. Flawless has this same feeling because she's a mare. Someone like Care Package will always be for a niche crowd because the general audience doesn't want some sausage fest made for gay dude bros in their basement, for which the Stallion episodes have become.

And the saddest part is I honestly think it's drained the life out of one of the Tamers too. He obviously wants to move on to Dandy's world but he realizing he's creating specials for this small, niche audience of guys that he aggressively pulled by accident when he started collaborating with MEN and and used MALE CHARACTERS in place of WOMEN, which severely pushed women away, because it made them feel like they're in a space where they aren't the main characters anymore. Mare Tamers was actually smart because he dared to be different by making his own OC a female, and his OCs advocate for mare rights. And that mitigates some of the hurt. So yeah, use more mares.

Went back and watched the bowling epsiode, it's insane how good early tamers mlp was when it was more like SU.

Lately the only reason MLP is down in views is because the channel deletions and MLP not being relevant enough compared a beast of a fandom like Dandy's which is the new big thing (Also considering that for bronies Tamers is old news. He's been making MLP vids for 2 years at this point). The MLP fandom as a whole has a bias towards the mares that's as much as I can gather. For obvious reasons.
But I'm going to be completely honest and tell you I don't give a fuck. I like the stories he makes not because of the views or the mayority liking a thing over the other. People are allowed to enjoy whatever they see fit. Some people just don't like stallions and that's it. He could make the greatest stallion episode ever but still people won't like it because of stallions. The channel is getting more views per episode than ever with Dandy's. DoTS had almost half a million views at it's peak before the original channel was nuked. But I wouldn't say peak Dandy's episodes are better than peak MLP ones (At least for now). And hardly comparable to SU too.
Would you even consider the possibility that he simply enjoys writing stories with the characters he creates and that's why he keeps making more videos about it? There was plenty of opportunities for Tamers to lean to complete fanservice but at the end of the day they just do whatever they want. And that has been the only constant since SU, MLP and now Dandy's.
So I just don't get why people care so much about the views. Heck I get why they would care about it as creators but why would you?

I can't speak to historic viewcounts since I didn't watch MLP pre-channel deletion but as of the current channel Big Mac Goes to College has a near 20k lead on Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash Break Up while only being 2 weeks older than it. Real Housewives of Ponyville also outperformed Pinkie's Ski Trip, Baking Halloween Cookies, and Trixie Meets Twi's Parents despite being 1-3 months newer than those episodes. The two lowest stallion episodes (Bad Influence/Alicorn of Death) are at 54-51k views while the two lowest mare episodes (Tournament of Power/RD Takes Matters into Own Hands) sit at 41-39k. AoD is arguably the worst performing of those, given that it had a 2+ month lead, but the other three episodes all aired within a month of each other. There's also the age restriction factor on certain episodes, notably AoD and RD Takes Matters etc., but I have no real way to account for that beyond simply acknowledging it. Finally, while it's not by a significant margin, the most popular episodes on the Tamers Pony Archive channel are stallion ones. For the sake of disclosure I also prefer the mares to the stallions but I don't see the stallions holding back or negatively impacting the series as a whole. Considering that the last three episodes have all been mares I'm feeling pretty well served.

Instead of establishing him as a new threat, it felt more like everyone else was hella incompetent. I hope that his future interactions with Care Package's Dad fleshes him out and further justifies his existence.

The ending and Sombra's subplot were great, though.

While I'm complaining about stallion eps, Big Mac Goes to College is wayyyy too heavy and the emphasis on the melodrama and lack of levity severely drags that one down. Clean Sweep loses so much sympathy from me when his entire role in the narrative seems to be solely to stir up conflict between Big Mac and Future Soarin. I don't know what it says about me that I'm more excited to see Prof. Kirin appear in future episodes than Clean Sweep. At least he doesn't drag the tone into the ditch every time he's on screen.

That'll always be the best statement on how badly Clean Sweep was received; when his literal abusive gay rapist got more love and attention from fans than he did.

Is it the voice? To me, Clean Sweep's is the second worst pick for a voice by tamers, the first being Knuckles new voice seriously that shit was so bad and I'm sorry tamers didn't like the negative reception but that was a seriously L decision, imagine to trying to remove Knuckles iconic "bitch" that always has that awkward pause

The voice doesn't help in the slightest, yeah. Mostly it's the drama farming, the constant trauma dumping, and the annoying mannerisms. it's a shame, because he's probably the most fleshed out character in terms of mannerisms and voice (in a writing sense), his lines are probably the easiest to pick out in text because of this, it's just that they're all grating as shit. I keep going on about how the thing that makes tamers' work work is the way they balance the melodrama with humor and how those two aspects bounce off of each other, but Sweep is severely lacking in good comedic moments. the best I can think of is in housewives where Arinos mentions how he can't stand fake bitches then immediately greets Sweep as though he wasn't just shit talking him.

Meanwhile, Kirin's appearances outside of his debut have pretty much all been great. I mentioned in the last thread how much I love the gag about him being carded for being a manlet from Housewives.

I kinda felt this way about Parcel Core initially, but I started warming up on rewatches. He's kind of the epitome of a character that's not supposed to exist, even on a meta level, and his appearance is really abrupt and not super well built up to, and his demise is ultimately not because of the efforts of the majority of the combatants, but because he's rejected by his parents for that same lack of buildup. He's their son in name and by blood, but he hasn't had the life with them a son would normally have. Then, on the way out, his cool facade totally shatters, and the "epic oc" vibe he started with is stripped away as he's dragged into hell. Ironically, though, this outburst gives him ten times more character than the battle did, and I can't help but wonder if that's intentional. I like him a lot now.

AoD's pacing issues, in a macro sense, have more to do with the 0-100 from the therapy session to the carepocalypse. an abrupt shift like that could have still worked if it was lubed a bit better with humor, maybe, but it felt weird. I could be wrong but, until Housewives, the stallion episodes had been getting less funny. There's some smaller scale pacing issues with Parcel Core's introduction that are probably what's contributing to how jobber-y everybody else felt in that scene, but I feel Tamers did the best that he could with what he had there. It was always going to be a hard sell establishing Parcel Core in the constraints he's working under. All of that being said, the main thing I'm looking forward to ATM are the upcoming Parcel Core/Care Package's Dad shenanigans, so it's not like I hate the critter or anything. He's no Clean Sweep.

I think it should be worth noting that Stallion Tamers purposefully tried to hide mare Tamers videos and never let him promote on the front page up until Trixie & Trixiebelle. A video which stallion Tamers wasn't even going to let him upload. That is until Mare Tamers went to Twitter and made the situation public. So there's obviously sabotage going on behind the scenes with views and I doubt we'll ever get truly accurate numbers.

This is a direct consequence of the entire therapy session idea being a lift from Death of Twilight Sparkle and it appropriately comes off just as soulless and uncreative as you would expect. It only shows that tamers12345 knows DOTS was their magnum opus and they still want that high again.
The only redeeming part of the scene was the dried out Care Package joke after he and Apple Bottom fuck in the bathroom and you know thats the only joke that hardly had any soul put into it because it's a reused idea in Dandy's World and so on.

This moment was peak post-resurrection Flawless. Tamers was doing the right thing with her in Trixie Gets Fired but then he started introducing Fractured, the Parcel Core of the mare timeline, and tanked her character into being just another "le evil gay psycho" which is basically every tamers character.
it's a shame, there was potential...

The timeline split is simply the result of two people having creative differences. It's meant to organize storylines first. Because it is possible that they both worked on some neutral episodes at the same time.
The evidence itself is just watch the goddamn show.

Something that's been bugging me is how, especially post-AoD, we'll get a mare and stallion epiosde or a mare and DW episode b2b that share a gag of some sort, usually something oddly specific, The only example that sticks out to me is both the bathhouse episode and housewives sharing a "then I guess we both know what needs to be done" bit. I know there's more, but that's the only one that really sticks out to me, atm. Kind of weird to get these matched pairs across series if their workflow is as segregated as everyone makes it out to be.
