I sometimes wonder if my cringe story would have actually gotten traction if I actually posted it. Basically 2000 years ago dragons had magic and were basically in a cold war state with equines but some dragon trusted in an evil force that stripped dragons of the source of their magic. Exiled from his people he felt the only way to redeem himself was to destroy the equine royalty and usher in an age of dragon domination through regicide. He went to fight a very young Celestia alone and ultimately failed and was going to be executed. But something busted him out and he was able to save Luna from being captured by that same evil force.Basically the rest of the story is about him siding with Celestia to beat the evil, him slowly realizing that despite him and her now being friends, she's going always care about her people more than his and how he trained a generation of dragons to be warriors in case war was to happen again.In my mind it sounds fucking stupid and not worth posting but I've apparently been wrong before so I'm not the best judge.
