He is a special type of pony called a Nightmare pony, more specifically he is a Nightmare Alicorn which is the most powerful of the Nightmare pony subspecies, and he has his cutie mark covered for a reason buy its either a Scythe or a double crescent. He is always in a nonchalantly calm and tired but not lazy demeanor, even when threatened or annoyed which when annoyed he becomes colder and harsher while still keeping that nonchalance making him more scary when annoyed... on the other hand though he prefers to hide since his kind were brought to near extinction many years ago in my MLP world so he is one of the last of his kind.
