This turned out to be impossible given the neocities infrastructure. Since it's always better to make things run themselves in the end, and it would be unfeasible for me to continually update the site, I decided to drop the feature and just include a link on the footer.We also wanted to make it auto-fetch the top 50 rarity images on ponerpics automatically, but this was also unstable, so I just downloaded 50 and put them up for good.Everything else was tweaking to fit the sensibilities and style of the webring, for example, everything now fits on one page without needing to scroll.Enjoy!

The red area below that is not actually her legs (she's not kneeling on a white pillow) but it's a length of fabric wrapping around her waist.In this image I would have totally looked at the 2D readability of the pose first, and additionally ditch some of the photorealistic rendering to add more symbolic depth cues (brightness gradient, more cleanly overlapping shapes, etc). I think this picture violates the basics a bit too much in that particular bottom half.
