>That tail
I almost thought the pone shat itself and it ran down its leg
>>
I bet they were too proud to use mounting blocks
>>
There's no particular advantage to being on a tall horse, you want the fastest, sturdiest and bravest horse you can find. Leg length does correlate with speed so some level of height is valuable but beyond a certain point you're actively hampering yourself with reduced range of your own strikes.

wait what, that's pony?
>>
>>43274633
Nah, that's actually your mother. She's hot tbf.

Human beings weren't such fat fucks in the Middle Ages.
>>
>>
>>43276286
They were also like 1.50 meters tall on average rather than today's 1m80.

Ponies conquered the known world.

AWW look at their tiny ears!

yes, and these >>43276434 look like ponies, but this >>43274584 is a fucking giant
>>
>>43274611
To add to your point: horses (like people) were fairly smaller (horses are a lot smaller in history than you think, we weren't even riding them until the LATE bronze age), and even if you had a decently sized horse to ride into battle, you wouldn't ride it TO the battle, you'd ride sturdier, more durable, smaller horses most of the time so you don't tire out your war steed before the battle starts.
And why the fuck would a knight be riding a massive draft horse? That's a peasant animal, not a mount for an inbred tincan.

Would you prefer to be fat or a manlet?
>>
>>43278147
You wouldn't be a manlet in comparison to others since literally everyone would be about that height. Also, being tall has only become an attraction point for females in the last century. Before that it was much, much more important how well you could provide for a family.
>>
>>43278164
t. 1.2m "man"let
>>
>>43276434
false

Ok
They conquered the unknown world too
