Well, I don’t entirely separate Larson’s Twilight from the other writers’ Twilights from the eras of the show he worked on. I will separate anything post-Season 5 from being “Larson’s Twilight,” due to how critical he was of the way the show was run by that point. (He wrote one episode post-Season 5, and he HATED it. They forced the story on him; you can hear him talk about this.)

But anyway, he was a huge proponent for writers to watch every episode of the show before writing for it, so his Twilight was definitely impacted by other writers. And I do see post-Season 2 Twilight as a massive bitch. Especially in “Magic Duel,” which M.A. Larson wrote. She’s an AWFUL person in that. All of them are. They act like Trixie killed someone and approach her with hostility and hatred merely for EXISTING!!! It’s awful!

That episode alone is enough to call Larson’s Twilight a truly reprehensibly horrendous person that deserves all the vengeance Trixie took out on her. Trixie is kinda like the proto-Cozy Glow, in a way. Twilight doesn’t think ruining someone’s life is enough. She also has to publicly humiliate them for daring to not kill themselves. Evil!

Outside of that episode, I still think she had a bitchy streak there ever since Faust left. She’s simply not a nice pony.

No amount of missing me could make things worse than the awkwardness of it being plainly obvious to everyone that I’m not having a good time.

And I finally did find friends that I’m able to be myself around, by the way. That started less than a year ago for me, though. For 30 years, I had no real connection to other people. I had to go to cons to find fellow autists, because we were able to relate.
