I’ll explain it to you this way: I like that Twilight and all of her loser friends were total failures and died horrible deaths in war, and were 100% responsible for mass genocides that killed millions. I like the Fluttershy was tortured to death before Discord’s very eyes and that he longed for nothing more than to kill himself for hundreds of years but could not due to being immortal. I like that the pegasi had royalty, leading to the possibility of Cozy Glow as their first queen.And I like that there’s a submissive little slave bitch who likes to work for villains, giving Cozy Glow the perfect new minion to mentally torment if she hasn’t actually been released from the stone yet; or hell, even if she has. Maybe she did become queen but had larger goals that required faking her own death and waiting in the shadows for the opportunity to capture her new slave.Also, I like that Opaline confirmed that Alicorns are immortal. Cozy Glow is rightfully an Alicorn, and I think EVER having been one inherently makes her immortal forever. And unlike Discord, she’d never want to kill herself, because she always has another trick up her sleeve.So, as you can see, the world of G5 is actually the perfect continuation of G4. The bad guys got everything they deserved, and the good guys are set to get everything they could ever dream of. Opaline even returned in the final episode, so the rise of Cozy Glow is imminent.
