Buy an ad niggerfaggot.
This dude has been making this type of animations for more than a decade and haven't improved in quality even a bit. He went full into "quantity over quality", "A/B testing". Glaze this all you want but this is just slop quality-wise and story-wise. Notice how every charated is barely "animated", he avoids animating walk cycles and even head turns. Yet people like him just because he's one of the only remaining people in the community who makes "show quality" animations. If he suddenly stops posting videos, nothing of the quality will be lost.

This. You can hardly call this animation. And the lack of voices AND background music makes it a chore to watch.
>>

>the lack of voices AND background music makes it a chore to watch
I once said in a past forga thread that it feels awkward to watch when there's no background music. Even that royalty free shit everyone and their moms used years ago would be better than nothing.

Even mouseau's short GIF animations are more interesting to watch than this tripe

Is this you, fagrol?
I'm employed so I haven't made any animated shorts yet. I've completed a free animation course this spring and made only a few test animations on one pony rig. My biggest issue right now is that I'm too slow, even though the quality is fine for a noob like me

I don't need to be an industry animator to see that ForgaLorga/Agrol's animations are just slop for the starving consoomer and his animation quality is a fucking joke. If he applied to an animator position with a portfolio of his animations nobody will hire him. He really should be embarassed to be that bad at animations for a decade straight, even a dog can improve faster at animation in such timeframe.

I feel like that tail swings WAY too much, but what do I know. I think a more subtle swing is better.
I dunno, I've dabbled in flash too, shit's hard to get just right and I often get a aneurysm trying to make sure parts of my puppet actually align nicely on certain custom poses that my current .fla models don't have by default.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQWLOWIiNF8
this was my very first flash animation and has god awful timing and is way too short to communicate the message to the viewer. I don't think I have the files for it anymore.

I'm just curious, are you the guy using toonboom and custom rigs in the /create/ thread? I know someone kept showcasing their custom puppets/rigs there but hasn't given them out for free use yet.
>>
>>43309797
Holy fuck LOL
>>
>>43309797
I seriously wonder if there's a way to translate these show-accurate Flash rigs into Moho.

>I'm just curious, are you the guy using toonboom and custom rigs in the /create/ thread?
No, but I think that could be age3rcm, he has experience in Toon Boom and is usually active in /mlp/
>>43310325
You can import symbols as SVG images into Moho, but you'd still have to manually assemble them into a rig, make an armature, actions for swapping body parts, 360 rotation (or swtich layer of each pose), lip sync, blinks etc.
>>
>>43309797
>all you want but this is just slop quality-wise and story-wise.
>posts slop with no story or quality
like really nigger, you think I want to watch walk cycles? are you impressed by render tests on game engines? agrols stuff is popular because he actually finishes and releases them and they have simple, easily conveyed stories.
>>
>>43311374
>posts slop with no story or quality
>no quality
This is bait.
>>
>>43311380
>walk cycle + static pose and a blink
No really, like what is he on about? Those are his words against agrol and he posts something with equally as little complexity. Also the mane movement is unnatural, there are clipping issues. Rock, glass house, etc.
>>
>>43311389
If you think the little details with the intensity of the eye squeeze and the hair bounces and the hoof stomp don't add up to ten times the understanding of translation of fluid motion of agrol's videos, you're dead wrong. It looks incredible.
>>
>>43311390
The hair moves for no reason. It's not really sync'd with any movement either. In fact it doesn't even move when the snow begins. It's purely there to add more motion, which is common but a far cry from understanding fluid motion. But we've already established this is slop because it has no story.

Also I was criticizing the mp4 he linked if you couldn't tell from >walk cycle
>>
>>43311401
>In fact it doesn't even move when the snow begins
Anon, I...
>>
>>43311404
It literally does not move in the direction of the wind/snow, the OBVIOUS direction of motion. In fact the whole animation should have been a test to show mane movement. Instead it bounces for some reason and remains static during the fastest part of the snow effect. From the guy who said agrol's stuff is quality slop btw.

got anymore generic 4chanisms so you sound like you're fitting?
>>
>>43311401
>>43311415
to be fair if you examine the actual show the mane often moves whenever any minor head motion is done, its just a bit more subtle so you don't see it as much compared to everything else.
>>
>>43309057
forgasloppa
>>
>>43311482
True, but it's also not really a hair movement, at least not a naturalistic one. It's adds motion and visual interest to the scene so it's not so static, but inherently hair doesn't really "bob", unless it's a wig or an intensely product'd style. FiM manes have so much volume it's hard to really give them natural hair movement anyway. https://youtu.be/abuBT0_rMgs?t=56 is like the one example and it looks good but you can tell it's off rig. I'd also say FiM does the hair bob much less than his sample or most fan animations.

Yet he's finishings projects and releasing them. Even though your animation quality is objectively superior, they're still just little test snippets you've hoarding and begrudgingly post only when argument happens.
Or are your finished projects available somewhere online?
