WHY THE HELL DIDN'T TWILIGHT USE THE FORCE FIELD TO PROTECT IT?
>>43313890It doesn't work on hasjew execs, they're too powerful.
>>43313890The library had to go, bro. It was time to advertise the Princess Castle Playset.
>>43313910But you can have another pony living there, like, Starlight?
>>43313912Or maybe someone else
>>43313913Keep those fucking things out of my cozy treebrary
>>43313915yeah keep you out and let them in
>>43313912>Expecting executives to make logical decisionsDearest Anon...
>>43313939Griffon claws typed this post.
Why didn't Twilight go back in time to warn herself to not free the Pony of Shadows from Ponehenge? Why didn't she go back in time to warn the Princesses of the Storm King? Why didn't she go back in time to warn Discord of Grogar's Bell?
>>43313910What happened to her castle when she moved to Canterlot, anyway?
>>43314016Why did they draw SB with slut eyes?
>>43313890It was an inside job. She wanted it destroyed. Do you think it's a coincidence she took out a massive insurance policy mere days before Tirek attacked?
>>43314023DHX animators got possessed by the ghost of Tom Wysom.
>>43313910> the Princess Castle PlaysetWhich looked nothing like the middle finger castle
>>43313890>knew it wouldn't be strong enough>didn't have time to cast it>trying to use a magic-based defense against a magic eaterThere's plenty of handwaves.>>43314016Depending on the spell, time travel either operates on the stable time loop (It's About Time)--time is immutable and what happened in the past already happened and cannot be changed. Or many worlds (Cutie Re-Mark)--you go back in time, change the events, and a new AU splits off that follows from those events. If she uses the former spell, nothing changes because she is somehow prevented from relaying the information. If she uses the later spell, nothing changes in the original timeline because a new one is created from her change. Either way, she fails to help the original timeline, which makes the whole idea pointless. And yes, this means everything post S5 takes place in an alternate timeline. In the show's original timeline, Twilight and Spike just disappeared in the castle after coming back from that lecture and were never seen again.
>>43315134there is no way to tell if cutie re-mark uses many worlds, or single self-correcting timeline. if it's the latter, then she absolutely would be able to use time travel to help her timeline.
>>43315134well the worst Twilight error was fucking teleporting to a high populated area, i'm pretty sure is cheap to buy a house in ponyville due to all the hazards.
>>43313890>TWILIGHT CRRRRAPPED IN THE FORCE FIELD
>>43313903Basically this. People who didn't care about the show and openly hated the show's fans took over and not even Twilight can do anything against that.
>>43315464I'm sorry. That Twilight was just too cute.
>>43315478That's what they're there for
>>43315491the game
>>43315134Re-Mark doesnt have to be many worlds though. The timeline goes back to how it was so it was just that chunk of percievable time that had the "wrong pasts".Both spells are possible in the same framework if you put imagine It's About Time's Novikov idea of time is the 'correct' version. It's easy with an eternalist, "block time" idea of time. If you saw the future from season 1 you'd see the Re-Mark hour or so has a different fake-past. If you saw the timeline from the outside there'd be a weird patch of time in that spot.Haruhi's Last Thursdayism talks about this.
