I have a strong hunch that the MLP live action movie will bring back Megan. Maybe she'll be a 40 or 50 year old hag, maybe she'll be reimagined as a "nihilistic" dyed haired zoomie working at Starbucks who hates her job.Actually you know what, nevermind, they're not retarded enough to pull that second one off. First one I can see though. For enemies they could face, Changelings would be the most budget-friendly, being shapeshifters that can assume any form, human actors included. That or Tirek since centaurs are part human waist-up, no need for CGI just make a good costume.
>>43316403She will be a strong and independent woman with a sidecut and a lesbian black gf fighting an evil white man.
>>43316403fucking disgrace mlp is without people thats what makes it work and faust knows it they should start listening to faust again instead of expired roasties who think jimmy kimmel is funny
>Hasbro is saving the budget they didn't use on the "series" for the first My Little Pony live action movie! It stars the voices of Awkwafina as Twilight and Chris Pratt as Spike. The rest of the Mane 6 are voiced by random influencers with no acting experience, who will become irrelevant the second the film is released. The film starts similar to the first Equestria Girls movie, but instead of venturing into the whimsical, cartoony human world of EQG, the ponies are transported into real-life modern-day New York. The ponies take a back seat to the actual plot, which is about some 35-year-old guy and his marriage troubles. The ponies are cartoony in shape, but have hyperrealistic textures, making them land face-first in the uncanny valley. The film’s humor consists of memes that were popular in 2018 and 90s pop culture references to make the parents laugh, but that kids won’t get. The characters constantly dab, floss, and speak in hip internet lingo. It features such clever and original one-liners as “Erhm..that just happened!”, “He’s right behind me, isn’t he”, and “A flying talking pony? Now I’ve seen everything!” It also insults the old generations frequently, there's a scene where a pony is looking at a G1 version of herself and says "I'm so glad I went on a diet!" It ends with the inspirational quote “Together, we are MLP” and a dance party to a song that was popular on TikTok in 2021.>The movie receives overwhelmingly negative reviews, but is a box office success, so a new sequel is churned out every year.
>>43316415The presence of humans is fine as long as the main character and most of the supporting characters are mares.
>>43316421>It also insults the old generations frequentlywe could only be so lucky
>>43316421>actual plot is about some 35-year-old guy and his marriage troublesClassy. I hope he learns some kickass friendship lessons.>memes that were popular in 2018 and 90s pop culture referencesMake it memes that were popular in 2007 and you have my money. Figuratively speaking. I'll pirate it either way.>clever and original one-linersAh yes, the legendary "millenial writing" meme. A combination of grievances about cliches that never had any prominence and appear to be made up arbitrarily. I suspect it only exists because some sinister think tank was testing how to make a bunch of gullible fools believe in a complete fabrication, like a 2020's version of the Runit Dome.>a diet is an insulting conceptA witty one-liner goes here.
>>43316415I think one or two humans are alright, Geewun wasn't too bad with it, they're functionally a different species the same way Spike is.>>43316421>The ponies take a back seat to the actual plot, which is about some 35-year-old guy and his marriage troubles. It will probably also be with his daughter that he lost in the divorce but can visit him every summer or whatever. Maybe THAT'S Megan.
>>43316403All I want from the live action, if it has Megan, is a complete remaster of Escape from midnight castle thats a bit over a full hour long and leads into a new dark fantasy series, maybe teen level you could have on cartoon network with adventure time levels of themes and undertones. That's all a huge ask, but I think if they look at the success of Adventure Time and bronies they could do it. If they want to quadruple down on 'what if our main characters where influencers, had cell phones, and said yolo like my grandkids did 10 years ago' then they are welcome to lose g6 in the first two years just as they did with g5.
