I feel like people vastly misunderstand what kind villain King Sombra was supposed to be. Sombra wasn't a cold heartless emotionless dictator. He was so consumed by his greed and the pursuit of power that he was barely noticeable as anything other than feral. He became a force of nature driven purely by emotions.>But Season 9Yeah Season 9 fucked him up too. There's no reason a character like Sombra would kidnap a baby and laugh. His force was encompassing. When he had subjects there was no rhyme or reason. No master plan. He just wanted power and ruled with a shit eating grin and nothing else. All that to say this Empress Midnight character seems like a parody of the mischaracterization they gave him in S9. You're acting more like Tempest Shadow than the dictator you're cosplaying ass. Eat a fucking cookie, Twilight. You're not you when you're hungry.
