god damn it bros I missed the thread for the scene where Ponk is all "you're new here and I couldn't stand the idea of you feeling lonely"

so sweet, one of my favorite Ponk moments; this episode does a great job at introducing each characters strengths and insecurities, and Pinkie's empathy and loneliness/fear of abandonment and her not wanting anyone else to feel that way are shown really well in that scene

That being said also the hot sauce is a fantastic visual gag with Twilight pouring it like it's alcohol. You can really feel that making friends with Ponk was truly the most painful for her out of the bunch and it's so funny.

Pinkie actively seems to enjoy teasing Twi for being so high strung, later on in Season 1. I especially felt like her interactions with Twi in Feeling Pinkie Keen (and It's About Time in S2 even) had her playing the fool and being innocent just because it was funny to her and potentially helped remove tension from the situation.
