Anon would go up and grab it so they could flee the area since the chain activates when Cozy gets too far from the keystone, not the house itself. I f I recall, the chain gets heavier the further away she gets from the stone.The chain itself has a tracking spell in it that the antagonistic force would be using to follow them, so they need to get it off of her, and the way that they do so is they capture a cockatrice to turn Cozy into stone so Anon can safely break or cut the chain off, then force the cockatrice to turn Cozy back to normal.Again, the problem is, who is after Cozy?

Maybe they were undergoing surgery and the cutoff of magic in a critical moment led to them dying on the table, or maybe a pegasus fell from the sky and landed bad enough to die or be paralyzed.For the threat to be serious, it'd probably have to be at least one unicorn using dark magic to overcome the guards watching over Anon and Cozy, and they'd have to have access to non-public knowledge to know where to find Cozy and the magic in the chain around her neck, so probably a guard themselves that's gone rogue.
