I think that guy may have confused 'normie' with being afflicted with reddit/twitter/whatever the opposite site of here is now audience, which is much more true. Unfortunately, the days of tabletop roleplay and wargame players being the basement dwellers, socially inept, and certified NERDS are long over, but I still certainly would not call serious (<- keyword) tabletop players of any kind normal.

I've had the idea to make an mlp themed rank 'n' flank tabletop wargame since there's genuinely a on to work with in terms of units and factions. Planning for it to use the old 25x50mm base sizes as standard for models, both because horses and because they're just large enough that you can stick most of the blindbag figure molds onto them and still be able to line them up nicely.Units likely won't be more than 8 bases per to help keep things manageable. I'll have to start ironing out ideas from there

Obviously ponies are the best, but if you've overdosed on mares and want a change of pace, I can personally attest that it can be a great springboard for exciting scenarios. Having been in an all diamond dog adventure and ran an all changeling adventure, they do work shockingly well.
