My children hated the ending of FiM. I warned the oldest that it sucked but she wanted to see the whole show, when she watched it she was raging about it. She was only 7 but understood the implication of Twilight being essentially immortal while all her friends grow old and die around her. Then how they killed the villains instead of using friendship magic. She fucking hated all of it. So who exactly did they write that ending for? Because it wasn't for kids and it wasn't for the fans.
