I can understand getting new blood to fill in for the older VAs, but it doesn't really make sense for the ones that are still in their 30s-40s. Hell Tabitha St. Germain was in her late 40s when she started working on fim. I also think very few people can match Andrea Libman's performance as Ponk and Flutters. This whole VA recast makes me wonder why they didn’t just swap out some of the ponies for G1-3 alternates. There would've been far less backlash if they just did that instead.
