I'll take the bullet and be the rare non-TFfag to engage with the premise.If I really am Cadance then their world needs me, there's nothing I can do about that. Out of a sense of obligation I'd cross over and I'd do my best to play my role as princess, but I'd have to be very upfront with Shining Armor that I'm never going to see him the way he sees me and that he'll need to treat me like a new pony. I'm sure that would be crushing for him, I'd imagine he'd be holding out hope that things would somehow return to normal, but I don't have it in me to fake that. I like being myself and knowing my memories are false wouldn't change that, I don't think, so I doubt I'd ever truly embrace the fact that I'm Cadance.
