The occasional fun game panels are great and the room parties can be a lot of fun, but I personally know a few anons who hosted room panels the last two years who are not doing so anymore out of fear of being kicked out of the con, even though they're in private room spaces. These panels just don't look like anything exciting or that out of the ordinary. I think the anon cosplay contest, Wetbrain, and the renegade stage could be enjoyable, but there is a notable lack of variety. I know the solution would be to not complain and host a panel myself, but as a con-goer, it's just getting a little harder each year to justify keep coming back, and I live in Orlando. Also, I understand it's a tradition to play The Last Unicorn during the rewatch stream, but that is not really MLP related and I don't think should have been picked for Cinemare Night. Why not just straight up show Rainbow Roadtrip or other specials from the show instead of the 2017 movie? Is it licensing or because it's a private screening it doesn't matter? Just my two cents for future years. I won't be attending this year because I have other plans, but I probably still wouldn't bother.

I remember from last year's feedback that a lot of people wanted panels with more audience participation.I just hope those people understand that most people in any halfway popular panel (audience of 50+) simply cannot participate in any meaningful way due to simple math of 60 minutes divided between 60 people resulting in 60 seconds per person, and that's assuming there's zero time spent on anything else like the host explaining WTF it's all about or getting a mic to the person in question.I just get the feeling that the people complaining about the panel lineup don't even know what they want to see. Now I will admit there's a lot of repeats from last year and I hope that's because nobody applied for anything new and interesting instead of the new and interesting applications getting rejected. I'd rather not see Mare Fair become like many eurocons that are carbon copies of each other with pretty much the same panels every time, no matter which con you go to.
