I also live in Europe and things might be handled differently here than in the US (though I've heard many areas over there do have their own form of autism bux). In general though I wouldn't recommend it if you're reasonably functioning right now. The prospect of not having to work sounds nice on paper but after many years you'll just become a social outcast with no friends or acquaintances and such a large distance to the workplace you'll never be able to live a semblance of a normal life any longer. Also, therapy is useless, wasted over 10 years on that shit and am only now finally rid of medication that has caused permanent side effects I'm still trying to mitigate. If you do anything, at least make sure you don't take any psychiatrist-prescribed pills and if you absolutely HAVE to, schedule with the lead practitioner to evaluate their necessity after one year. If you can get through the day without them, don't take them.

But then later when they "revised" their methodology, I'm suddenly autistic. Huh.
